John
R. Robinson, received his Juris
Doctor degree from Bates College of Law, University of
Houston in May 1981. He graduated from the University
of Texas at Austin Cum Laude with Honors in June 1978.
He became licensed to practice law in the state of Texas
in September of 1981. He was an Assistant District Attorney
for Dallas County from 1981 until June 1985. Since leaving
the District Attorney's office in June 1985, he has practiced
in the area of civil litigation with a major emphasis
of his practice focused on insurance defense litigation,
toxic tort litigation, as well as products liability and
premises liability. He is a member of the State Bar of
Texas, the Dallas Bar Association and the American Bar
Association and has tried over 200 jury trials to conclusion.
